As a recovered binge-eater/bulimic, I know what it’s like to feel out of control around food. I know what it’s like to feel the guilt, the shame, and daily anxiety around food and weight change. To hold the heavy burden of a secret that you feel embarrassed to tell your loved ones. I know how “real” it is.

I also get that you still want to have a healthy body. You value health and fitness, and want to continue making this a priority. But you also don’t want your self-worth being so attached to your body and achievements. You want to be able to eat and exercise from a place of enjoyment, to be able to be flexible, and feel that you are enough without having to have the perfect body.

It’s frustrating when you can’t seem to just have a normal relationship with food and your body like other people. It feels isolating battling this on your own. You want someone who can support you through the break-through process who understands what it’s like, and has a step by step process of getting you there.

So, I’m here to partner with you on this journey. To offer you my guidance, tools and support, to finally break-free from the binge-purge cycle. So you can  get back to enjoy food, and enjoying life!  

MY METHOD

I believe there is no one-size fits all model when it comes to breaking free from bulimia. We need to take a holistic approach that address both the physical, nutritional and psychological aspects keeping you in the binge-purge cycle, as well as lifestyle factors. We all have different triggers, our brains are wired differently, and we have a different reasons why well fell into the cycle in the first place. Therefore I take a personalized approach when working with each client.

Through my unique 5 Pillar Coaching approach, I pull together and offer you what i’ve found so far to be the most effective tools for breaking the binge-purge cycle. Integrating personalised, wholefood non-diet nutrition coaching, body Image healing, tools from traditional ED therapies (ICAT-BV, CBT-T), NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), and Intuitive Eating.

    STEP ONE: BOOK YOUR FREE 30 MINUTE COACHING CALL 

    In this free 30 minute consultation, well talk about what your current cycle is looking like, and I help you gain clarity on what’s been keeping you stuck. We then map out an action plan for getting out of the cycle, and if we then both feel like it’s the right fit to work together you will have the option of becoming a 1-1 coaching client.

    STEP TWO – GETTING SET UP AND STARTING THE JOURNEY   

    Once you decide to become a coaching client, we book you in for your first coaching session as soon as possible and set up on your coaching portal. In your first session, we set clear goals, decide  together the best way to track your progress, then we get to work right away. 

    STEP THREE: SOLVING THE PUZZLE AND BUILDING YOU TOOL KIT 

    We meet every week for the first 1-3 month, with a focus on solving your binge-purge puzzle. Identifying your triggers, equipping you with the right tools, and having wins as soon as possible.  

    STEP FOUR – 1 MONTH PROGRESS REVIEW:

    After the first month of working together, we review your progress and if we are both happy with how you are progressing we continue with weekly or fortnightly sessions based on the frequency of your episodes, and the level of support you still need.  We then continue working together (weekly or fortnightly) until you are no longer having episodes, your feeling clear on how to nourish yourself, and confident in the tools you have to be able to continue on your own.

    STEP FIVE – BULIMIA BREAKTHROUGH GRADUATION!

    Typically once you have a “working tool kit”, the BP episodes happen less and less until it feels like a habit of the past. It’s now time for you to graduate! We finish off our journey together with a review and celebration of how far you have come, what you have learned, and consolidate your “Tool Kit”. I will reassure you that I’m only a message away if you ever need me, but that you have access to your BP-FREE Tool Kit” for life!  

    Note: The typical coaching duration to break the BP cycle is 2-4 months. After this, we may catch up only if the odd episode happens, OR you may decide to transition over the Food Freedom Coaching if there is more you want to work on with your relationship with food.  

    Bulimia Break-through Coaching Fee’s

    Everyone’s bulimia journey is different based on the severity and length of time they have been stuck in the cycle. I have a range of coaching packages and pricing options that can be personalised to each client, based on the level of support they need. As an indication of the investment, most clients will invest between $2000-$4000, over a 3-6 month period. We discuss the best package and payment plan options for you in our free discovery call.

    I have suffered from bulimia for more than 10 years (off and on). Some times believing that I could just magically stop one day but instead got trapped in this nightmare for so long. Half of the time it just happened unconsciously, like it was part of my daily routine. Every time thinking to myself this is the last time but the next day it just happened again.

    Although it was mentally draining I didn’t sense a huge harm for my body physically, yes it is uncomfortable and disgusting but nothing too serious happened to my physical health at least I didn’t know if any. So I just let it happen for a while. Also reaching out can be quite intimidating, exposing one of the most unpleasant “habit” to someone you have never met.

    Kim was an emotional support and a guardian to me. She is some one who GETS your struggle and helped me see something in a whole new perspective therefore changed my mindset about my relationship with food and my body. I can see myself through another person’s eye and see what was really going on.

    It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be to break the cycle. Surely some struggles here and there but surprisingly once your mindset changes all of a sudden you snap out of it and never wanted to go back again.

    Theres no better feeling than a true freedom from something you have suffered with for so long. I feel like I have control over my life again and I have so much more energy for things that are meaningful i.e. doing the things I like such as spending time with family and friends. Whereas before I have spent so much time and energy on what I eat and 1-2 hours per day purely on binge purge.

    I believe EVERYTHING is possible. To stop you’ve just got to make your first step which is always the hardest. Once you start tracking your daily habit and got from there you can make tiny progress everyday just by learning and observing yourself, and then with the help from a professional you can then try and error and eventually you will find a way to pull yourself out without even noticing it!

    I was feeling at a low point. Every morning I would wake up thinking I could cure this thing myself, but time and time again I would binge or “eat too much”, feel guilty and then purge, then feel like a failure. What was wrong with me? Why did I not have enough self-control to fix this?

    We created a list of why binging and purging was a TERRIBLE idea. We also created an Emergency toolkit which I could easily access from a note in my phone, should those negative thoughts appear.
