ABOUT:
Hi, I’m Kim! I’m a New Zealand Registered Nutritionist and Master NLP Practitioner, with further training in Disordered Eating, Eating Disorders, and Body Image healing.
After battling my own eating disorder (bulimia) and disordered eating throughout my teens and early 20’s, and listening to the struggles of 100s of women I’ve worked with over the last 9 years, I have become fiercely passionate about ending the suffering caused by diet culture.
It is now my lifes mission to help as many women as possible break-free from food restriction, yoyo-dieting, binge-restrict cycles, and eating disorders (specifically bulimia), and find food freedom.
This is what lead me to create Mind Your Nutrition Coaching

MY EXERCISE PHILOSOPHY
As with our food, I believe in exercising for self-care and health, not for self-punishment or for ‘shrinking” ourselves. I encourage you to include a variety of movement into your life, to help you build a strong metabolism and a healthy functioning body. I also believe in the power of movement for our mental health, as much as our physical health.
These days, I practice what I preach, and no longer go to extremes with exercise. I love combining movement with nature, animals, and friends when possible. My favourite ways to move my body these days include horse riding, yoga, quick 20 minute workouts, beach walks and runs with my dog Leah, and surfing or hiking in the weekends.

MY COACHING PHILISOPHY
Everything is learning – You cannot “fail”
Coaching to me, means forming a partnership along a journey of self-discovery, based on learning and reflecting with curiosity, and never judgement. The word “failure” doesn’t need to be apart of our journey. Because everything is just an opportunity for learning. By adopting the art of “reflecting with curiosity, not judgement” we allow our selves to keep moving forward.
You are your own expert
I believe all women, deep down, are their own mind and body expert, I can provide the knowledge and the tools, offering inspiration and ideas. But ultimately, it’s person who lives in their body and in their mind that is the true “expert”. I’m here to help you tap into that inner wisdom you already have inside of you.
A personalized approach is key
I’ve learned from both my clinical and personal experiences, that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to nutrition and how our brains are wired. We are much more complexed than a calorie equation, we all respond differently to food, and we’ve all had different lived experiences when it comes our food and body image journey. This is why I have a zero judgement policy and a personalised approach with each client that comes on board with me. I work gently with my clients and take a role of partnership, as opposed to just the expert stand.
As your Nutritionist and as your coach, I am here to be your guide. To listen to you, to offer non-biases evidence based information, allow for the exchange of ideas and take time getting to know what works for you.
