Do you need an easy grab and go breaky? This one could be for you. Bircher muesli is awesome because you can make one big batch on a Sunday, that last for 3-4 days in the fridge. Which means less stress in the morning while you’re trying to get ready for work or get the kids out the door. Feel free to mix up the fat servings based on what you enjoy. Hope you love it 😊

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

Carbohydrates

  • 2 cups Oats

  • 2 cups Frozen blue berries OR 1 large apple grated

Protein 

  • 4 scoop Natural protein powder – Vanilla or Chocolate Flavoured (I recommend Balance Natural Whey, Go Good, or JSHEALTH protein – whey or plant are both fine)

Healthy Fats

  • 4 tbsp Chia seeds

  • 8 tbs of Grain free granola or mixed nuts and seeds (Check out Kim’s Signature Granola Recipe)  

Other

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  • Cinnamon

Extra toppings (optional)

  • Sliced fruit (e.g., ½ banana, strawberries in summer)
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut yoghurt/Greek yoghurt
  • Shredded coconut
  • Nut or seed butter (e.g., Peanut butter, almond butter, tahini)
  • 1 tbsp Honey (optional sweetener)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix through.
  2. Pop into the fridge to soak overnight.
  3. Serve the next day as is OR topped with a few extra slices of banana and added yoghurt.

     

Easy as that!
